[NEWS] NU'EST, taking steps toward the 1st peak of their career

Just last year, NU'EST had signs of losing the battle. While there are countless of idol groups that come and go, there weren't lots of interest for this 6 year old boy group. They continued to release good quality albums, but there were lots of cold responses, "They lost the timing to become popular", so they had to end promotions with quiet responses multiple times.

As they were about to come to an end, they were offered to appear on MNET 'Produce 101 Season 2'. The format that was offered: 6 year old singers against trainees who haven't debut. Who is more desperate. The members' worries increased. Some gave up, but some hung on the last thread of hope.

After this broadcast, their lives changed 180 degrees. Their real names were more well known than JR, Baekho, and Ren, the stage names they have been using for about 5 years. Jonghyun was known for his born-to-be-a-leader characteristics, Minhyun for his eye for talent, Dongho for his alarming Vocals, and Minki for his stage manners he was born with. All four members made it to the final live broadcast, and Minhyun has become a member of Wanna One. They have fulfilled part of their success.

But the miracle did not end their. NU'EST has seen the light as well. Their most well known song, 'Hello' shot up the charts in 4 years, and their V-Live broadcasts would beat their previous broadcasts each time. The group that saw the end to their career were given the hope and possibility of being able to start fresh. Pledis Entertainment grabbed the opportunity quickly and started planning.

They will be releasing a new song on the 25th as a unit, 'NU'EST W'. The new song is a product of Kiggen, who produced JR&Minhyun's Daybreak. They will be releasing a song to thank the fans that loved and waited for them with no hesitation. It is not an official fansong, but the thought of them releasing this song surpasses the meaning of a fansong.

Unfortunately, excluding Jonghyun's fixed guest position on JTBC's new broadcast, NU'EST don't have any broadcast plans as of now. This is to focus entirely on their album for their official comeback in 2nd half of 2017. They are opening up the possibility of promoting on music shows for this album. They will still communicate with fans regardless. NU'EST plans on actively updating fans through v-live and fancafe.

The 6 year old group were given a change to start anew through a survival program, and they have just released news of starting again. The first step of a new start was desperate, but NU'EST are very close to their 1st peak of their career after 5 years of promoting. We hope that the fruits they take in will be sweet.
